Hello,
Beginning mid of Jan, 2014, bank transfer will no longer be an option to
fund your AdWords account. However, you can always fund your account using
a credit card. To ensure that your ads continue to run, please follow the
steps below by mid of Jan, 2014, to switch to using a credit card.
How paying by credit card works
As you switch from using bank transfer to credit card, your ads will
continue running as long as your AdWords account has sufficient funds. When
you make a payment by credit card, you’ll specify the amount you want to
pay. If your ads stopped due to a lack of funds, they’ll start running
almost immediately after your successful payment. However, it can take up
to 24 hours for the amount you paid to appear on your Billing pages.
You still have complete control over how much you spend, with the ability
to set a daily budget and end date for your campaigns and to create a
shared budget for all campaigns within your account.
How to add a credit card to your AdWords account
Sign in to your account at
https://adwords.google.com
.
Click the Billing tab.
Click Billing preferences.
Next to “Billing and payment,” click edit.
Under “Prepay billing,” select Credit Card, then click Continue.
Enter your credit card details and confirm your billing address.
Click Save Changes.
Other options
Changing to postpay: You can also take this opportunity to change when you
pay, from prepay to postpay (paying after your ads run). Postpay allows
your ads to run continuously, without your having to remember to make a
payment.
Stopping AdWords: If you decide to stop using AdWords, request a refund for
your unused balance. You’ll need to send us your bank account details
because we don’t store your bank information.
If you have any questions, contact us.
